DRAWING FOR BEGINNERS
Circles, squares and triangles, lines and values. The most basics of drawing, which almost all forms of visual arts are based in. This class is for those who want to learn to draw, how to see and how to elevate your skills above drawing “stick people”. My class is structured, fun and very lively, I promise you’ll be amazed what you can do at the end of the course.
INDEPENDENT STUDY IN DRAWING
Move beyond the basics of drawing in this intermediate level class. Students will use simple materials such as charcoal, pen, and pencils while learning about composition, positive and negative space, light on dark, and value.
INTRODUCTION TO WATERCOLORS
This class is designed for the very basics of watercolors. It will include the simplest techniques, such as washes, wet into wet, wet into dry & dry into dry. We will learn how to set up a drawing, understand the importance of values and the basics of color theory. We will learn about brushes and brush work, the different types of papers, paints, and pallets, along with special techniques of using masking.
